Island Siege is a card game of colonization in the West Indies. Players build forts using building stones from their supply, then move colonists in each turn to populate it. Colonists in turn build buildings and ships, which then house the colonists. Buildings provide players with special abilities, while ships are sent to lay siege to the opponent’s forts.

The goal is for players to get all of their colonists into play on their forts, buildings and ships. Be careful, though, whenever a fort is destroyed by an opponent’s fleet all of its colonists, and the colonists of buildings behind the fort are removed from play! Alternately, players may win by earning 20 gold from building. Winning requires a keen balance of building and laying an Island Siege!

Island Siege contains everything you need to build a colony and lay siege to your opponent!

  • 1 Rulebook - Easy-to-read rulebook by Daniel Solis
  • 18 Fort Cards - Forts protect your colony from enemy siege. The ‘stones’ you add to the card are hard to replace after the fort has been built, so plan wisely.
  • 12 Building Cards - Buildings are built behind forts and give you victory points (coins) and powerful effects. But they fall when your fort falls.
  • 6 Ship Cards - Ships can also be built in your colony. These give you victory points and usually provide benefits when laying siege to your opponent.
  • 2 Player Boards - Each player has a board to store their nine colonists. These colonists move to forts, buildings, etc. as they’re built, and powerful effects are unlocked as the player board empties. Colonists move back to the player board after your forts and buildings are destroyed.
  • 4 Custom Dice - The dice are used to lay siege to your opponent.
  • 27 Stones - Stones reinforce forts, making it harder for your opponent them down. The best way to get more stones for your forts is by laying siege to your opponent.
  • 18 Colonists - Each player gets nine colonists. Start your turn with all of your colonists on your forts and buildings to win!
  • 2 Wooden Fleet Tokens - Sail your fleet to an opponents fort to mark it for attack.
  • 13 Coins - These attractive, heavy metal coins by Campaign Coins are used to track victory points.
