The Role


Let’s Play Games is seeking an experienced and energised Event Coordinator to join our team. We’d love someone who loves events and has experience in event planning and delivery for both B2B events (ATA Toy Fair) and B2C events (PAX Australia). You'll play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of various events throughout the year. This is a full time role. Our head office is located in North Rocks with options available for hybrid or remote working conditions.

Responsibilities


  • Work with the Sales and Marketing team to develop a comprehensive understanding of the requirements for each event
  • Work with the marketing team to coordinate and deliver LPG events
  • Create detailed event plans, including budgets, timelines and checklists
  • Source and liaise with vendors
  • Handle day to day admin of event requirements including order placements, asset creation, staff travel planning, RSVP tracking
  • Hire and manage event personnel across different event functions
  • Oversee event set up, manage on-site operations and troubleshoot any issues
  • Manage and deploy marketing event inventory
  • Assist with the communication of key messages to LPG staff, stakeholders, and the wider community via a range of channels including social media

Education and Experience


  • Minimum 3 years experience in event planning and coordination.
  • Tertiary qualification in events and/or related discipline desirable but not essential
  • Exceptional organisational, planning, and multi-tasking skills along with the ability to coordinate competing priorities
  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities
  • Creative problem-solving and attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Must be willing to work onsite - bump in/out, operations and etc
  • Proficient in the use of Mailchimp, Canva, Adobe Suite, Google Suite

Additional Considerations


  • Flexibility for Travel: Must be willing to travel as required to manage events. Travel may include weekends and extended hours during event periods
  • Weekend Work: Availability to work on weekends is essential. Key events often take place during weekends
  • Must love games
