This set of Real Colors lacquer based paints contains the three camouflage colors that had been introduced around the spring of 1941 for painting Luftwaffe aircraft operating in the Mediterranean Theatre of Operations.
RLM 78 and RLM 79 were intended to be used as lower and upper surface colors, respectively, whilst RLM 80 was to be applied as an additional upper surface disruptive camouflage color at depot or unit level. The tropical colors were also carried by some aircraft operating in the Eastern Front which had been factory-painted using them.
May be diluted with RC701/RC702 High Compatibility Thinner or other thinners intended for lacquer based paints.
